
SpaceX Making History Overnight With An All Civilian Crewed Flight To Space

(Kennedy Space Center, FL)- At 8:02 PM EDT a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket lifted off from LC-39A. The mission deemed Inspiration 4 had a four person crew, not a single person onboard were trained astronauts. The mission was a fundraiser for Saint Jude Children's Hospital and it was funded by Jared Isaacman CEO of Shift4Payment.
The crew will spend three days in space orbiting higher than the International Space Station at about 350 miles above earth. In case you missed it below is a highlight reel of yesterday’s launch:
