Detectives Investigating Homicide on N. Dixie

According the scanner traffic, at 4:26am, a call came in for a 31 year old male that sustained gunshots to the abdomen and head in the backyard of a residence. The caller stated to dispatch that the possible suspects were two black males who immediately fled the scene

Officers arrived on scene and and officer confirmed a gunshot to the head and that the victim was possibly deceased.

Titusville Police are investigating the early morning shooting death of a local man that occurred on Saturday, July 3, 2021.

At approximately 4:30 AM, Titusville Police responded to a report of shots fired at a home located on the 400 block of North Dixie Avenue. Officers secured the crime scene, and located the victim with an apparent gunshot wound on the property of the residence. The unknown suspect(s) fled the scene and are still at large. The victim was transported to a local hospital and succumbed to his injuries at approximately 5:20 AM. There were no other injuries. Detectives are working all leads, and are asking that anyone with information is urged to contact police at (321) 264-7800 or can remain anonymous and they be eligible for a reward up to $5000 by contacting Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS.
